Wine Enthusiast 16-Inch x 16-Inch Cork Board Kit

Description says it comes with glue but it didn’t and the instructions say you must supply the glue.

I had saved and collected wine corks for a while and thought this would be a good project to use them. I made two different patterns and they both looked cool.

Got this cork display kit as a gift. Comes with various supplies: sandpaper, bumpers/feet, metal hanger and screws. Played over an hour fitting most of our corks into the frame in a pattern. As not all corks are the same width or length it was a fun puzzle fitting them in and making sure the winery names were visible and not two of the same were next to each other. Now that I have it planned out dry, next step is to remove them one at a time and glue them in place. For another day! 2nd image is my proposed final positions for the corks. Was a fun and reminded me of the fun of jigsaw puzzles and the details of getting the pieces to fit and be a nice image when done.

Great fun creating my recent cork board that became a house warming gift to my son. He loved it also. This was the second cork board that I created and I will do yet a third as soon as I accumulate enough corks. My first board is proudly displayed in my kitchen and serves as a bulletin board. Using a variety of corks add to the delight of the board. Corks with significant height and wide base add to the utility of the board -- if placed in a pantry the larger corks are useful for handling aprons or other light objects. Regret that some wines now prefer "plastic corks" as bottle stoppers. They just don't work!

Over the years I have put together four of these cork boards and they all looks very nice. Some of them contain corks from wine from special occasions, great memories of nice times.

I love this item! have purchased quite a few of them...I make them and give them as gifts - they are always a hit! I will continue to purchase them from Bed Bath and Beyond!

Very nice, substantial frame. A fun project to complete. It looks great on my kitchen wall.

The item description and picture is somewhat misleading...this does NOT come with the corks...you have to collect 128 of your own and then glue them to the wooden frame. The description sounds as if the corks come with it and you just have to glue them down like a nice art project. The wooden frame is sturdy and a very pretty varnish. I received this as a gift but would not purchase for myself. It's been sitting in the attic for a couple months now because I do not have enough corks to fill it up.
