I am thrilled with the beauty and feel of this Duvet cover. After ordering from two competitors, I chose Bed Bath and Beyond's. The 500 Thread count is fantastic and luxurious. The only downside is that there are no corner ties inside to tie the down comforter to the cover. The upside is that I also received two regular pillow shams - an unexpected bonus, as I had also ordered European shams.

What is apparently expected to be the top is soft material with the stripes on it, however the other side is abrasive, solid, and unappealing both visually and to the touch. ... No sure why one the maker thinks one side needs to be different than the other, but it is.

The color is nice, but the skirt is so wrinkled. The skirt was 2 inches short by the headboard on the king bed frame. It was hard to get the skirt to stay in place.

Pretty but always wrinkled. No matter what setting I used on my dryer I cannot get this thing to be unwrinkled. I ended up giving it away.

I purchased this in January and first used in February. I switch it with one other (while in the wash). After washing (by itself, warm, new front load washer), it developed a small rip in it and because only one side is striped, we couldn’t just flip it over. After the second wash, it has several small rips. For the price, I expected top wuality because I have used this brand for a long time but this particular cover did not hold up. Other cons: it has a button closure (vs a zipper) and does NOT have corner ties.

This 500-thread count duvet set is soft and luxurious. I like the stripes on one side and solid on the opposite side giving you two decorating options. The dark blue color is a very nice deep blue.
