For years.....YEARS....no demo, no review could convince me that all blenders were not equal. I've been going along in my ignorance bliss making smoothies. My friend insisted that I try out her Vitamix 5200. I was hesitant and didn't really care to. FINE. Finally gave in. After hitting the ON and turning up the speed, I returned hers and got my very own Vitamix. Ignorance was bliss, but now I can't go back to anything else. Also, I giving away the old so-called "blender" for anyone who is interested.

I bought a Vitamix assuming that it would have no problem blending thick soups but I was wrong. The Vitamix seems to have enough power but it quickly overheats which leads to burnt windings and a ruined motor.

I bought my vitamix 7500 in 2010. I’m going to have to replace it, it has been used twice a day for 12 years. This is the best blender in the world. I’m getting the same 7500 . I wish the pitcher was in glass but that certainly isn’t a deal breaker

Don’t know how I’d ever do without a Vitamix now that I’ve owned one - it’s several levels above the Kitchenaid and Cuisinart blenders that I’ve owned in the past.

I was a bit hesitant because of the price-point but I needed to have my heavy metal detox smoothies as creamy as possible. This blender does the job, it’s easy to use, & it’s easy to clean. I am very happy with my purchase and I enjoy using it on a daily basis.
