I purchased this one to replace the larger one that came as part of the original purchase. I love this size!!! I make daily smoothies and this is easier to clean, fits under my cabinet and I could put it in the DW if I choose to. It came quickly and I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner. I'm very happy with my purchase. And of course the quality is what you'd expect from VitaMix.

This is not as good as advertised. You can never make cracked grains in it. It mills them into fine flour. I follow directions exactly and always get flour instead of cracked grains. When I call Vitamix or e-mail, they never reply. The booklet that comes with it seems good only by looks, but when you follow directions to make cracked grains, you will always end up having flour. This container grinds your cinnamon sticks into fine powder, but it will not make you cracked grains. I wanted to make Irish oats, but whole

I would never buy anything but a Vitamix for a blender, they are great and love the dry blade container, it grinds up everything to a fine power if that is what you want. Its is great and a nice added container to a collection. You will not be disappointed at all.

Always have had a Vitamix Blender but never had the dry mix container to use, I absolutely love it it grinds up all the dry ingredients into power, saves me money and so easy to do for any kind of cooking or baking. If you own the Vitamix you definately need this attachment for it. Its great.
