It really does stay put and although it isn't ceramic, it looks ceramic.

I LOVE these bowls, in fact so much that I have 3 of them. You can set them in the sink with some water and a splash of soap, let them soak a bit and everything slides right out. It's always so hard to clean up cat wet food.

Love this bowl - perfect size for my smallest cat, and cute decoration helps identify it as hers. The non-skid bottom is a great feature and really helps the cat get all the food without extraa work. Hope to get more for the other cats.

The dish arrived with a very large chip out of it, measuring about 3 1/4 x 1 inch. The exterior packaging/box was in perfect condition. The dish was sealed in a clear plastic bag. The broken piece was not in the bag or box. Therefore the dish was already broken before it was sealed into the plastic bag and placed into the box. Bed, Bath, and Beyond intentionally sent me a broken dish. I will never shop online from this store again.

This bowl is fantastic! It is so easy to clean and get the food off of. Wet cat food as a tendency to stick to ceramic bowls really bad and needs a long soak but this one can very easily be cleaned out. Love the anti slip bottom too! If I had that on my last bowl, I wouldn't have needed this. Only thing that I didn't like is that the local store didn't have it in stock and it took FOREVER for shipping! Bed Bath and Beyond uses the worst, slowest shipping available.
