I have two dogs that sleep on the bed, so bedding washes are frequent. Comforters were becoming disposable because they can be so bulky to wash and thoroughly dry. I purchased this because quilts are usually thinner than comforters, but it was weighted which was perfect. We love this quilt! It washes and dries beautifully and it's so soft and comfortable with just the right amount of weight, without being hot! Some reviewers mentioned it sliding off the bed. I have experienced it slipping a little but that's usually when the dogs are jumping onto or off the bed (they're each just short of 100 pounds so there's a lot of momentum). Best bedding purchase I've made in a long time.

Bought this for guest room; it's so soft and was out on display. The reversible part is nice as well; and the material is quality BUT this is a WEIGHTED quilt - which means: no matter what you do, it slides all night long off the end and off the sides. Drove people crazy. Had only 1 week and have to return. Ruined a good night's sleep for a week. Too bad because it really is soft and beautiful colors/pattern.
