I purchased this Medium Profile Pro-Support pillow at BB&B. I had previously purchased the Low Profile version from the Tempur-Pedic store, where I had tried out both. I slept on my Low Profile pillow for 5 months before giving up on it. The tricky thing about the Pro-Support pillows is they have a breaking in period. They are a hybrid memory foam pillow: part solid and part shredded. The Medium Profile is 49% solid piece of memory foam and 51% shredded memory foam. The Low Profile and High Profile versions of this pillow increase and decrease the amount of shredded memory foam, respectively, to achieve a softer and harder pillow density. When you initially lay on them / test them, they feel FIRMER than they actually will be after sleeping on them for a while. It will take 2-3 months for the pillow to break down a little bit, and then it may continue to break down and soften up even more during months 4 and 5. I initially purchased the Low Profile pillow because it was the height I wanted at 5.75 inches. Sadly, the Low Profile has Extra Soft filling and it is just too soft for a side-sleeper. It will NOT support your neck enough, even if you have a small adult frame. The Medium Profile pillow is 6.5 inches high. It feels good on my side but is a little too high for comfortably laying on my back. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Its Soft filling is the right density for most of us. To me it feels closer to a medium density than soft. If you like a firm pillow you will need to try the High Profile version of this pillow. It will not satisfy someone looking for an extra-firm feel since it is not a solid block of memory foam, but I expect it to be in the range of medium-firm to firm.
My husband and I bought these in store. We were looking to replace our 7 year old Tempurpedic pillows. These looked great and we liked the idea of the cooling feature. $ 300 is a hefty price for a pair of pillows but I would pay it if I thought the pillows were amazing. For that price- they should be. We took them home and slept on them one night. The next morning my neck was aching. I asked him what his thoughts were on the new pillows and he said they were too thick and too firm. Needless to say, we packed them back up and returned them. These are supposed to be soft. They did have extra soft options in the Tempurpedic line as well. We actually started to buy the extra soft but were afraid they wouldn’t have enough support. Keep in mind unless you like a really firm pillow you probably won’t want to try these.

So first, it's expensive. At 189, I figured it would at least stay cool for more than 2 minutes. Smells weird but that's normal for memory foam. Laying on it is the worst part. Supposed to conform to your body but it's naturally shaped like a blimp. Thin on the edges round in the center. Really strange overall. Will be returning this.

This pillow is way too firm. Sleeping on my side made half of my face go entirely numb. Would be nice if it was softer and not so expensive.
IT TAKES A WEEK to get used to this but it IS the best pillow I have ever tried for back sleeping! We have the matching mattress to this and after 12+ pillows we tried, this and the pillow cube were our final picks! This for back sleeping and the cube for side sleeping! Keeps you cool too
I have bought this pillow from Temperpedic for my husband and he loves it. I have ordered other pillows from them but they no longer make this pillow. I was so happy to find it here at BB & B. It's perfect for me as a slde sleeper, not too firm, not too soft and I get a good night's sleep. Very happy with this pillow.
This pillow is very uncomfortable and not cooling
I have had a tempur pedic pillow for several years and loved them. They always gave very firm support. This one is flimsy and way too soft. There is no support at all and I wake up with a stiff neck in the morning.
I expected more from Tempur-Pedic, this pillow is lumpy and is the most uncomfortable pillow I've slept on in years, my neck is killing me and I do not recommend this pillow for side sleepers or any other positioned sleeper as the quality is severely lacking!
