For a rental apartment in the city these worked beautifully. They are not highly room darkening or even close but do block sunlight and offer complete privacy. As you can see by the photos they offer a high end look without the price. The color shown is stone. It is a good description- depending upon the light situation it is an appealing very pale brown in color - neutral enough to go with either gold or silver accents in a room (I have both). All 4 panels ordered were consistent in color, length and detail. They are not heavyweight so any opening and closing should not be done with a heavy hand. Otherwise beautiful - almost like silk.

I ordered these because it said they were room darkening. They are not! They also have a flaw in them that is just about half way up one of the panels. The color is good stone. Have not yet decided if I am going to return them. I am so tired of things made in foreign countries and paying s&h. Bbb where is the quality control.

These curtains are definitely translucent - they let through a fair amount of light (enough to create clear silhouettes). However, they look very pretty, and for the price these curtains are a great value.

These panels are rather sheer compared to the picture where they look like they're solid. The fabric is really cheap and rough. Making them work since we have east sun on our bedroom, but don't like them.

I put these curtains in my bedroom, they go with my bedspread/comforter perfectly. They darken the room great as I have a light on outside nearby.

We recently received new furniture for our Living Room, which changed the colors used in the room. We needed eight panels to cover three windows, as one of the windows is wider than the other two. I wouldn't go so far as to say these are room darkening curtains, but we don't really require them to be room darkening and we bought them at a very good price. They look nice and we have received lots of compliments on them.
