Nice chair, but difficult straps

I like the overall design of the chair, and with the add-on baby set and tray it makes a great high-chair, but the one thing I don't like about it is the straps. They are not designed very well for ease of use. It's fairly easy to actually click the shoulder straps into the crotch piece, but then in order for the straps to stay on the shoulders you have to thread one of the fabric straps through the tabs of this little plastic piece and it's rather difficult to get it in and out. Not convenient for strapping baby in or taking her out! And then once you've got the plastic piece on forget about adjusting the fit. Other than that it's a nice chair.

DO NOT BUY!!! Find a used one from before the redesign! My older daughter got a Tripp Trapp in 2019, which is a great seat. We got a new one for our younger daughter, and everything changed. Now we had to purchase a separate baby set! Not only that, the baby set is difficult to use. Hard to get my 18mo old daughter in baby seat, and the only other option is they have is NO safety harness! The 2019 model is perfect! Great straps, useful until my daughter can sit without a safety harness. The 2020 model is essentially going to have to sit in the closet until my daughter can sit without safety harness!!!

The chair came in open box. inside the box, not covered the wood legs. the legs are both broken, look like from nothing covered and opened box. I took a picture, it comes exactly like that in my front door.

We have 2 of these already for our 6 and 4 year old and just bought another for our 2 year old. These are super sturdy and attractive and something you won’t mind at your dinner table for years and years (because they’re SO much easier to wipe down than a traditional high chair or your nice cloth dining chairs)! They’re not ideal for babies before they’re sitting up on their own, but you’ll definitely get your moneys worth in the years you’ll use these. Fairly easy to adjust and kids can sit higher at first (better than the newer Stokke Steps - which may be easier to adjust but isn’t as versatile as the trip trapp). Happy meal times!

I like stokke products as I have the bed and changing table. We were disappointed that the chair arrived chipped in two locations. It is a good chair but I prefer my own children to damage it.

We have several stokke furniture products crib and changing table and have been happy with their quality. I was very disappointed that the chair arrived in the condition that it did. On the top of the chair it had a big scratch with the white paint chipped off showing the wood underneath. There was several other scratches that made it look as if it was worn out. I dont know if it was a return or the shipping caused it to look like this, but very disappointing for a $200 high chair
