[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this piece of bakeware! Incredibly easy to clean, heats evenly, and looks beautiful.

Upon the initial unpacking, I thought the dish was cast iron. Great heft, nice fitting lid, and the sound it made when the lid was fit on to the dish gave me momentary pause about the products material. The ceramic finish is pretty good (always a couple flaws when dealing with ceramics). The color, in this case indigo/dark blue, matches the other indigo/dark blue cast iron pieces I have from Staub. It is a great piece, bakes well, cleans up nicely. Decently priced, a good purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staub ceramique covered bakers are a kitchen staple. The quality is unmatched. I reach for these again and again. Love the square and the rectangular, as well.

It’s beautiful and well made, we actually bought this to replace the one we had earlier, which my hubby accidentally dropped a cast iron pan on and broke the handle off. But we really love it and use it all the time.

I haven’t tried it yet. It looks beautiful but it’s quite small. It would hold enough for a side dish for two people. I might bake a potato in it or leave supper on warm in the oven since the cover would prevent drying out.. My plan is to use it for holiday meals so it looks pretty on the table holding some glazed carrots or roasted brussells sprouts, things people take small portions of. The basil color would match a lot of other decor.

This baker is the perfect size for side dishes. The ceramic heats evenly and is very easy to clean. The lid is tight fitting and the design on the underside redistributes moisture just like the cast iron Staub pieces. Its also great for storage and reheating of leftovers.
