Not black out but definitely helps keep it cool in the summer and dark enough for me to sleep when I work the night shift. I was a bit surprised it wasn’t a true gray, more like a beige gray but more gray than beige but I’m actually really glad as it looks better than I was expecting. It definitely has shimmer and it doesn’t look or feel cheap like I thought it might. I paired these with a set of sheer curtains and two rods and love the look. Makes the room feel more elegant. I’m really happy with this purchase (especially the price). I bought two which equals four panels across my two close together windows.

I like how these look, but they are not very darkening at all. I am keeping them, but I have to use an eye mask to stay asleep after sunrise.

I purchased 6 pairs in white. I love t them, but hate that they aren't room darkening. Going to purchase 5 pair of the gray/silver. Won't be surprised if they aren't room darkening as well, but I love the look..

These curtains came with minor defects. The design was flawed. And they did not black out the daylight or sun hours!

I purchased these white curtains for my lanai but in actuality, they are silver! I decided to keep them after hanging them because it was such a hassle. During the day, they look white. Once it’s dark, definitely can tell they are not white. More accurate description would have been helpful. They are a good quality for the price.

I love these. They look simple and white from afar but when you get closer and the light hits them they become these beautiful shimmery textured curtains that just make the whole room. They are definitely light filtering but you cannot see through them. You can see shadows on the other side if it’s bright out. Really happy with my purchase.

I would not consider these black out curtains. The light still comes through.
