The 6L came packaged beautifully. No dings or blemish noted. Using for bathroom. No issues with this product. I have a much larger can in my kitchen and was so impressed with the durability and unobtrusive style, I added another.

The garbage can looks good and worked well the first 10 to 11 months then all of a sudden the motor started making a noise when you put your foot on the pedal and then eventually it dies out. So now you have to lift the leg with your hand which defeats the purpose. It is not just me my daughter bought one and has the same problem

Fits in small space but still ample size. Lid closes quietly. Attractive.

Work nice. Has an inner can that you line and comes with liner bags. Soft close lid so it doesn't clang like the previous one.

The appearance and materials are of the high quality I've come to expect from simplehuman. But because the can itself is so light, using the petal can make it move around. (But it's not so bad that it tips over.) I recommend the designers add a chunk of metal or even sand on the bottom to stabilize it. A "solid" little can would feel great to use!
