I bought this shower caddy in October 2013 and purposely postponed writing my review for at least 6 months. Sure enough after about 6 months, I noticed the top shelf began to rust. Then slowly over time, the other two shelves began to rust as well. It took me a while, but I finally took photographs and contacted Simple Human directly via an online form as there is the 5 year warranty. Kudos to Simple Human because within 48 hours, I received an email from them that contained an order form for the three shelves that needed replacing, indicating that they would be shipped in 3 weeks (at no cost to me). I believe I received the shelves within the 3 week window. I was truly prepared to have to fight and make my case, but this company stood behind their product 100%, no questions asked. I have a number of Simple Human products and will continue to be a long time fan and customer. The shower caddy tension pole has never rusted and is extremely secure in our shower. It would be great if the shelving was made of the same material, there would be no rust issues. I have to say that my both my mother and sister have the same caddy and they have not had the same rust issues that I had. I noticed slight rusting on my Mom's caddy but not to the degree that mine rusted. So it could be humidity conditions in the bathroom, not sure. Therefore, I would still highly recommend this shower caddy, the shelves are very sturdy, spacious and overall it is a great design. Despite the rust, I do not regret my purchase, especially since Simple Human acted so quickly to remedy the problem. Simple Human 4 Life!!
NOTE: This review is being typed 5 years after buying and using this caddy. My husband and I bought this particular model after we got married and moved into an apartment. Our bathroom has a narrow shower stall so we needed a shelf that won't take up too much space. (An over-the-showerhead caddy was not an option since the showerhead pipe is too short to allow one to hang from it.) Since this caddy is the only one that garnered the best reviews, we shelled over the $100+. This all said, here is what I have to say about it after 5 years of using it: PRO'S: • STABLE, won't capsize! • Takes up little space • Modules that give more many possibilities (being able to easily attach and detach any storage units to wherever you want them along the pole) • THE TOWEL RACK ARMS (gee, why doesn't OXO have this feature on theirs, I wonder?) - I love the fact that you can move the arms back and forth to whatever position you want along an 180 degree swining arc • the shaver holders and hooks for stuff CON'S: • The price • The shelves can sink/slide downwards after you adjust them (MAKE SURE THE POLE IS 100% dry and your items are not TOO heavy) • The shelves began showing rusty residue on them after the 2nd year we owned this. (As it turns out, it's actually dried flaky stuff you can scrub off - Thank God it's not rust!) • The towel rack clamp part began getting wobbly and won't stay on the pole so I had to insert a small piece of plastic scrub pad into the clamp so that it would create a tighter fit.

Love, love, love this shower caddy. It looks expensive, elegant and it takes up so little space while providing so much uncluttered storage. Thrilled with this purchase. Suggestion: It would be great if you could buy extra shelves and an extra razor holder as an accessory add on at time of purchase and as add on accessories options. I would definitely buy 1 of each of those.

Fits perfecly, love the natural look, just what I wanted
Love this, the only thing it could use is something to hold a book open. Also some flip down stoppers on the outer edges on the bottom to keep you from knocking it off the edge of the tub when using a freestanding tub.
I bought this about a year ago and it’s great that it doesn’t rust, but 3 of the baskets no longer stay up- they just slide down to the bottom of the pole, making them unusable without me coming up with my own solution to modify the product to try to make them usable again. Disappointing
Not opened yet. A Christmas gift.
It' perfect for our shower, we are shorter than "average" so able to move the shelves to be easy to reach
LOOKS VERY NICE
I looked everywhere for an expandable tray to fit my garden tub. It is beautiful, fits perfect and is so functional!
