Please do not do this unnatural thing to your dog.
The suit was easy to put on our dog. Hair was able to get out of the fabric but not a lot. This suit slid down to expose the neck and mid chest. Our dog is 100 lbs and I ordered XXL I probably should have ordered smaller. Could not get him out fast enough to use the bathroom.
This is exactly what we needed, not for shedding, but our Lab had a skin condtiton and we needed a full body covering to keep her from scratching and tearing her skin up. This is perfect! The only alteration I am going to make is to stop the zipper about 5-6" shorter so she can keep it on when she goes out her doggie door to potty. We highy recommend this. Light weight, not hot, covers well!
Very shiny not sure my dog likes it. Overall this is a great concept EXCEPT for the fact that you have to unzip it every time your dog may use the bathroom - BIG PAIN. My dog has peed and now pooped in his shed defender several times. The hair mostly stays inside the suit or collects on the outside if there is any in their bed.
