Shark® Rocket® HV301C Ultra-Light Corded Stick Vacuum in Orange

I purchased my Shark Rocket Corded Bagless Stick Vacuum for Carpet and Hard Floor Cleaning with Swivel Steering last month. I did not plan on buying this brand at first. My intent was a canister type vacuum that was not over 12 pounds. I noticed the Shark Rocket design immediately and the words "lightweight " caught my attention. I can't lift large heavy or bulky items any longer. I picked the Shark Rocket up and it felt great! I noticed it was designed to be user friendly. I can easily vacuum the entire floor without emptying the holder. There are several features that are wonderful including push button releases that allow you to change to attachments. For a lighter vacuum, the Shark has tremendous power. I love the ability to clean corners and baseboards at the push of a button. It is easy to empty and clean out, again, at the touch of a button. Somehow it’s smaller, but cleans with power and suction that rivals my full-size vacuum. It works nicely on both my carpeted areas and hardwoods, and I was really surprised at how much cat hair it picked up! It’s a great size & lightweight enough for maneuvering around stairs, and easily turns into a hand vacuum too for smaller messes and spaces. It is a little tricky to store, and I do wish it had a light, but, overall, I’m very happy with this stick vacuum.

It is extremely light weight which makes vacuuming easier and the slender design makes it so easy to get under couches and tables. The detachable portions make vacuuming the steps an absolute breeze. It pulls up so much dirt and debris from my carpets and floors I’m amazed at how much is in the dust cup at the end of my cleaning. The dust cup is easy to detach and empty. This vacuum is the best ! I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall decent vacuum for our full household. We have 1 dog, 2 cats, and a toddler, so yeah need a good vacuum. The suction works great and the cord length is nice. I found the placement of the cord to be a hassle, but easy to work around. Setup was easy and cleaning out the debris is simple. Downfall the Shark vacuum is light weight to pick up, but not light weight to push. The maneuvering of the wrist and tension the vacuum can become painful after short bursts. My mother who is in her 50s with carpal tunnel had difficult time with this vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was very surprising to me. I got it because I wanted a light weight vacuum for cleaning our stairs. When I got the vacuum I thought it was so light there would be no power to it, but boy I was wrong. This thing sucks up dust, and hair and crumbs left by my kids with such ease. I went over our carpet in our living room to pick up some crumbs and this vacuum picked up dust and other things I didn't realize we're still in the carpet from the last time I vacuumed. I was so surprised. every time I use this, the amount of stuff I'm able to pick up is really impressive. The only reason I knocked a star off is that there's no way to hang the vacuum, unless you buy an accessory part. The hook space to hang it, is so narrow that it seems it was manufactured only to fit their specific hook, which I think is a little sneaky, but not a deal breaker IMO. second the motor part of the vacuum is much heavier than the rest of it, so you have to prop it up or else it'll fall over constantly. Again, having a universal hook spot would make this easier to store. A great vacuum with really impressive performance and incredibly light weight.

I had this vacuum when I was living with a roommate which later made me buy my own when I moved out on my own because I love this little vacuum. Great for hardwood floors and low carpet. Easy to switch from floor to ceiling to furniture. Great suction gets up all the dog fur. The only downside is it's top heavy so you have to lean it up against something to keep it standing but not the end of the world for us, it lays against the wall in our coat closet.

It doesn’t scratch the floors either. It is very light so I can carry it easy upstairs or downstairs to vacuum in those needed areas. I love that it can be taken apart so that I can vacuum the ceilings and high corners without lifting the whole vacuum cleaner up. I am very happy and excited with this vacuum cleaner.
