This is a beautiful red rug. But, it says fade proof, my rug faded so bad I can’t use it and have to throw it away. A great waste of money….would not recommend.

After a few weeks on my patio this rug faded badly. It continued to fade and the ends started unraveling. I was so embarrassed by the look of the rug that I threw this rug out and bought a new one. In my 16 years of rugs on my patio, this is the only one that I ran across this problem. I will never buy from this company again.
I live in Michigan and put this rug on my patio about a month ago. I’m throwing it out because it faded so badly and it’s only the beginning of June! Definitely do not recommend this rug for outdoors,
I purchased for the front porch and noticed that the actual color fades quickly and then it flakes off and you can sweep it off. Not worth it.

Hello! Thank you for your insightful review. Rugs shed as a natural consequence of how they are made; this is especially true of new rugs. However, this shedding will gradually diminish and can be reduced by following the tips provided on or website at followinghttps://safavieh.com/product-guides. Hopefully this information is helpful for future reference.
Waited 3 weeks for item kept changing date
This is a low quality rug. The circle pattern is jagged and not uniform in different areas. I guess you get what you pay for. :-(
just the right size for our deck. so happy we purchased this
I wanted an area rug for my living room. The value is great, I got a 5x8 or so size. The pattern is what I wanted. Shipped fast to me. My only complaint would be that its not very soft at all. Would be better outdoors but I'm still gonna use it indoors.
