Like the iron. Nice steam. Nice weight. The only thing I don't like is when I grab the iron, my hand brushes up against the temperature adjustment wheel and moves it....so far to be hotter. Then I need to readjust. The wheel is also hard to see because it's underneath the handle and angled down. I'd really like the adjustment to be up at the top so it's easier to read and I don't bump it.

I had an older Rowenta for many years where the temperature adjuster went because of calcification problems. So I purchased this model to replace it. Other than the nice stainless base I was immediately disappointed just taking it out of the box.. The handle is not as comfortable as my old model, with a very plastically feel around part of it. The cord that has a support where it attaches to the iron itself is in such a position that it would rub my arm when ironing. In addition the instructions of how to do the 2 week cleanings are very confusing since this iron does not have a self cleaning button, Instead they refer to a valve pin and do not clearly tell you where you should position it. Based on that I returned this product. I hope Rowenta comes out with something better. It used to be a good product. This does not seem like German engineering.

Perfect for my Shirts, Neck Ties and Pants!

Saves me a trip to the cleaners. Great Blast of Steam when you need it and it's so easy to use. Nice even heat and steam moves the wrinkles and smooths everything out smooth. I love being able to move around the buttons with the guides on the edges. I do have to be careful with my big fingers pressing on the steam button and the the spray button at the same time because they are close to each other but I am getting use to controlling that. This is a wonderful tool just like all the other Rowenta Products that I have!

When I opened the box the bags of air to protect the Iron during shipping had no air in them. And the Iron didn’t Work. Extremely disappointed

This steam iron is comfortable to use. The grip section is made of rubber surface (maybe not rubber but the texture is similar) that makes it easy to grip the iron tightly in the hand. The iron is sturdy, the weight is balanced. It heats up quick and it has an automatic off feature for your safety. The water reservoir is big enough for me, the water spray is easy to use (you can guess the direction of the spray quite easily by looking at the spray nozzle), the steaming function works very well too. The instruction manual is clear in how top care for the iron and your clothing.

Iron feels and looks nice. Quality feeling materials. Nice sole plate. Irons on steam drip mode well. Problem is quality control is bad. The steam burst on my brand new iron is busted. Will be returning.

Control knob came out-manufacture defective

I bought my iron approximately fifteen months ago and I love it. ( I paid almost $130.00). The control knob came off the iron and I couldn’t put it back on. I went to the store and their warranty and return policy is 90 days on electronics. I called Rowenta and they said the iron is out of warranty. The iron will work if the control knob is fixed. I was very disappointed in Rowenta because it’s a manufacturer defective and the iron should not be falling apart. I will never purchase another Rowenta iron again.
