This iron works well on all types of fabric.Do not have to refill when ironing. One point -when filling the iron with water make sure the dial is set to dry function, and minimal heat.Then after filling with water turn the dial to steam function and steam level desired. The side light will then go on, when this light goes off the iron is ready to use. This will prevent any leakage of water.Best iron I have ever had.

The functionality of this iron is great. I can actually iron most of my clothes without using starch. Unfortunately, the plastic piece used to open and close the water reservoir door has broken. In order to replace this small plastic piece, I was told that I would have to purchase the entire reservoir replacement assembly. There aren't any service repair shops within my area. Therefore, replacing parts or servicing your iron can become a bit pricey to ship to a repair shop on top of the high price that you initially pay for it. Because of those issues, it gets 3 stars.

I have always purchased Rowenta irons. This new one is terriffic too ! Only thing I don't like (which has nothing to do with functioning)... the water reservoir is a very dark blue and I struggle to see the water in the tank !
