These are beautiful in the day and work great to darken room.

These shades make the room pretty dark, depending on how you are able to hang them, they could make your room totally dark. I thought one was broken because it got stuck and wouldn't go up or down. But after I unhooked the bottom and fiddled with it a bit, it started working it again. The top down part is great because there's a sheer covering over the window that helps with privacy.

We absolutely love this product for what it does and for the good price. However, after a couple years of having this product on the windows, one of them spontaneously failed. The top bracket stayed attached, but the entire shade fell out and fell down. We have 7 of these up in the house, some brand new and some a few years old. I hope they are not all doomed to fail...

I didn’t really know what to expect because I’ve never seen anything like these. They are really cool. The light ones really look pretty and it’s so easy to turn into the dark ones.

This shade is day/night, but what isn't explained is that you cannot raise and lower the shade to actually see out your window. Since we want to look out our window at times, this was not what we wanted. A great idea if you want complete privacy at all times.
