Philips Bikini Genie

I'm a little excited about my new Philips BikiniGenie Bikini trimmer! This trimmer makes it so easy to shave my bikini area. It comes with 2 trimming combs (3mm and 5mm), a mini shaving head, cleaning brush, and a cute little drawstring bag to store everything in. It also has a washable trimming head. (Please see instruction booklet for directions) I love the non-slip grip purple trim. I have already used it a couple of times and it works great! No more disposable razors for me! I highly recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handy little trimmer is great! I love how small and narrow the head of the trimmer it, it makes navigating small areas and curves really easy. It has two different guides depending on the length you are going for. Is it the most powerful trimmer? No, but it is super maneuverable and easy to use. I do not like the shaving head – it yanks on hairs and hurts rather than trimming them in my experience. Maybe I need to try on shorter hairs? Overall I am thrilled with this, it is SO much easier to use than using a beard trimmer!

For years, I have used a combination of a regular razor in the shower, then scissors and my husband's spare hair clippers (which I meticulously cleaned when done) for landscaping. It was inconvenient and sometimes I cut myself - who wants a cut down there! Enter this trimmer, FINALLY! It is the right size to hold in my hand, comfortable, and properly sized to trim a small delicate area. It works fantastic. Only took a few quick minutes to do what I needed to. It comes with 2 different trimmer heads, a couple trimming clip accessories and a cloth bag to hold it all. Also comes with an AA battery! I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's about time something like this existed. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The trimmer gives a pretty close shave but not to the skin which I prefer it that way. I can use it on my whole area without getting cut or or razor burn. It runs on batteries but it is not a slow moving trimmer.
