I use it to ventilate our bathroom as we shower. Very little mist/fog on mirror. In the summer, great fanning tool!

This fan moves in an up and down motion and then in an oscillating motion (as it moves up and down it swivels right and left). My problem with the motion is that it takes a long time to get back to center. I don't want the air blowing on me constantly. However, it takes a while to come back to the air flowing directly at you when in motion. On really hot nights I have to set the button to have the fan directly on me and then use a light blanket to keep from getting cold because the air is directly on me. It is also not quite even at the first setting. There have been a few warm nights where I just preferred to deal with the heat than the fan. It's still good for a room circulation but for night time I plan on purchasing something else.

For a desktop fan, I was surprised by how large and heavy this was. But it's the best fan I've ever had, for a reasonable price. It oscillates back and forth and/or up and down, and it almost completely silent. I'd ordered it to use in my office, which gets stuffy in the summer, but I think I'll put this in my bedroom (we don't have AC), and take my cheaper plastic fan into the office instead.

THIS ITEM IS TO BIG FOR A DESK FAN. I WISH I HAD CHOSEN SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I HAVE IT SITTING ON TOP OF A STEP STOOL ON THE FLOOR. IT IS OK FOR WHAT I USE IT FOR.

This is a very capable fan! It can blow you away at too speed, but has lower speeds that are perfect and no matter which speed you choose, it’s still quiet. It’s top quality and will last forever. I feel like I can back that statement up because I’ve had this fan out on my Florida room (windows open 24/7) where there is pollen and dust everywhere. It’s basically like placing the fan outside in the backyard. Yet, this fan just continues to purr and keep on keepin’ on, like the little energizer bunny! It’s a great fan, dependable, strong, and quiet.

I was looking for a fan that would fit on my desk perfectly and finally found one. My favorite thing about this fan is that you can rotate it to blow directly where you want it to. It does a good job of keeping the entire room cool. I highly recommend.
