OXO Tot® Transitions 6 Oz. Soft Spout Sippy Cup with Handles in Teal

I love oxo products but this one nope. Nice that it has the habdle and lid for sanitary purpose . Lid Kept touching my son’s eyes/face when drinking.

Overall its great. My 6 month old had very little problems figuring it out once she got used to the amount that comes out. I would agree with other reviews that the lid is kind of in the way when she takes a drink but she doesn't seem too bothered by it. The valve is not completely leak proof. When she bangs it upside down on the highchair or drops it in the floor it drops but not too bad.

I love this cup. Perfect for my son. Started using Stephen 4 months old and at 6 months old it’s still working and he loves it for little sips of water. Easy for him to use and the handles are great. doesn’t leak or spill.

I hate that the lid cover is attached. It kept poking my son in the eye every time he sipped from it. We quickly got rid of this cup.

The cup leaks no matter how much I tighten it or not tighten it. Do not put this in your bag because everything will leak out. Would not purchase again.

We got a few sippy cups to try out with our daughter, starting at around 6 months. At 9 months, this one is by far still her favorite! Pros / Cons of various cups: - Oxo Tot: The cup has a bite valve (similar to a hiking / camelbak waterbottle), so it has been the easiest for her to get water flowing without having to suck it hard like a bottle. I like that the cover and the handles are completely removable, so there is a lot of flexibility in the form factor of the cup (since we use it at home... no need for a travel cover). It is easy to take the whole thing apart for washing. The only cons: the bite valve means that liquid can travel both ways -- so she sometimes gets food bits into her water while she is eating. Also, the top can be very slippery / difficult to open when it is covered in baby food (like yogurt or applesauce) so do not over-tighten! - Dr. Brown's Soft Spout Transition: Our daughter loves their bottles, but for some reason hated the sippy spout on this cup. The spout is very similar to a bottle with a "pin hole" style valve. It takes a lot of effort to get water flowing compared to the Oxo, but the water stays cleaner because it cannot "flow both ways." - Munchkin Miracle 360: I love the design of this cup -- it's so clever! I think this will probably be the next cup we transition to after the Oxo to get her ready for big girl cups. At this age, though, she is still totally confused by the lack of spout. - Ezpz tiny cup: She loved playing with this cup, but never got the hang of actually getting water out of it to drink (although she was able to spill all over the floor). We might try to add it back into the rotation when she is a bit older.

Introduced this to my daughter at about 7 months for sips of water with meals. She immediately knew what to do with it and loves it. The nipple is super soft and squishy for her gums, and the flow is just right. I like the attached cap component too.

Best for older babies and toddlers.
