I personally like the grip on it. The Internet are nice and round… which you would assume most melon ballers are… but I have found some that are flat or square bottomed. It is very simple, but works great. I love that has the 2 sizes as well.

Great little utensil. I bought it for using on apples. I saw it demonstrated on a food video and wanted to try it. I'm so glad I bought it.

I have been looking for a product to use on a variety of fruits/vegetables. I realize the advertised use of this product is as a "melon baller". That's only one good use for it, though. I use it to remove the core from a halved apple or pear or the stem from strawberries. My criteria for choosing this product was that it had to do those tasks with ease and also NOT RUST! I wash this by hand and allow to air dry and have not had any problem with rust. I suppose I could be even more careful and dry it immediately, but I admittedly hate drying dishes! (Besides, air drying is more sanitary if you're not using the dishwasher.) But how dirty does this really get? Just a quick little wash and it's good to go. I was concerned about whether the flat (vs. serrated) edges would be strong enough for apples, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Bed Bath & Beyond had a 90 day return policy so I took a chance. But it's not going back! Thanks!

Works great, fits my hand (lefty), many uses with two sixes in one tool.

Ordered it months ago. I would review it with more than 1 star had the item been delivered. BBB “helpline” will not resolve this as no one answers the phone and there’s no effective online support.
