We have the small turner and it is my number one go to for most everything. Sturdy enough to turn something heavy without flopping about but supple enough to scrape up the last goodies from the pan absolutely clean. Had it for 2.5 years and it is like new.
I wanted a firmer silicone spat but can't find one that is firm and sleek. This one is clumsy, floppy, and too large for my taste, especially flipping eggs. I think it's designed for hotcakes and maybe large fish fillets. It seems that all the perfect sized spats are made of plastic and plastic melts into your food. I'll keep looking! I can't, in good faith, recommend this for multipurpose cooking but it might work for some just fine.

The handle isn't long enough to balance the size of the actual turner. Also handle does not seem sturdy enough to handle heavy-duty pressing as in flattening a hamburger patty. Size of the turner is great for pancakes and french toast because you can get it under the entire item, not just part of it.

As with any other OXO items I have purchased, this turner works so well. It has a surface area perfect for so many foods such as eggs, casserole servings, French toast, etc.
