OXO Good Grips® Prep Y-Peeler in Grey

My husband commented yesterday about how much he likes this peeler over our prior ones. We had a ceramic one that had similar head placement to handle but it seemed difficult to clean. It always looked stained. When that one broke, we replaced with this one which has the same format but metal blade. My husband commented on wanting to buy a backup just in case it breaks or wears out because of how much he likes it. I think it’ll actually hold up for some time.

Somehow I lost my old OXO peeler. Probably got tossed with the peels last time it was used. This is nothing like my old one. It is short so it is difficult to hold and the angle of the blade is off so that the peeler has to be held almost vertically to work. Will continue to search for the same model as my "old peeler"

Got rid of my old standard all metal peelers.....this is it for me.

This was the worst peeler I have ever come across. I had bought this and a bunch of kitchen utensils to form a basket as a gift for Christmas. I noticed the peeler was not use so I decided to open it and use it as I did not like my brothers peeler that he owned. I could not peel anything, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, and any other vegetables you can think of peeling. What an absolute joke. It is a piece of garbage which is exactly why I threw it away. Not even owned for one day after opening. Absolute junk!

This is a great, easy to use (move the blade away from you), sharp peeler. I will be ordering more to give away as stocking stuffers or little housewarming gifts. The blades do get dull over time so I will order another one for myself.

Using it now

Handles a little small but it does a good job so far I haven’t used it that much.
