OXO Good Grips® Garlic Press in Black

The Oxo garlic press is the press I’ve ever used. Easily removes the residue from the pressed slot and being able to scrape the minced garlic into a recipe is as easy as can be. I’ve use one of these for years and so bought my girlfriend one when I saw what she was using. Big hit!

Very sturdy and easy on the hand when gripping and pressing.

Heavy Duty to git the job done.. Easy to clean out garlic by reversing handles and push garlic out of press holes = than easy clean !!!

Cleans up like new, well made, but I've become weak in my old age, and I find it difficult in my arm strength, to squeeze the garlic through, at times. I think that the garlic provided in this area of which i live, is old, stored for at least a year, as it all appears rubbery. That could be more of my problem than the product itself...When fresh new garlic is used, it squeezes much easier. .

Great garlic press with heft and excellent handles. One that will last forever.

This garlic press is one of my prized possessions. It presses multiple cloves of garlic very well and has the bonus small prongs on the back end to help you "clean" it after use. I do wish those prongs were just a bit longer, but it is a nice added feature. It has a very sturdy, substantial feel and you can also pop it in the dishwasher for a more thorough cleaning.

Like many I eat garlic-or more like swallow it with water-almost daily for its powerful health benefits, But not only should this be done on an empty stomach, and within food for at least an hour afterwards, but the more finely minced the large garlic clove the better the body can absorb and utilize it. Sadly, like all garlic presses I've reviewed so far none mince garlic as finely as i can by hand with a sharp steak knife and cutting board. I'm going to send OXO and a few other brands my suggestions for redesigning presses to do this. Hopefully, better models will be forthcoming.
