This doesn’t make getting the corn off the cob any easier than using a knife. In fact, you have to hold the cob in such a way that it actually makes it more awkward. Also, the distance between the blade and the plastic is very shallow so you’re only getting the top half of the kernels. I found I was leaving most of the corn on the cob. I am back to using a knife.

I needed this to make corn fritters/pancakes

Works well and cuts corn cutting in half when freezing sweet corn. May need a few practice tries to get the feel of it since a little different from using a knife. Ergonomic handle eliminates the hand pain when using a regular paring knife.. NOTE: If you like your corn kernels cut close to the cob, you might not like using this.

This worked great! So easy. I need to find a better bowl to catch my kernels into.. but this worked great!
