This is a game changer for making berry sorbets and processing chili sauces. I can't wait to try it again, and on other things as well. In the last 24 hours we've used it 3 times. No more slowly and painfully pressing products through a sieve. Cooking is a labor of love in our household and now there will be more love, and a lot less labor.

Did not press my canned pealed tomatoes through very well. It left a lot in the strainer and on bottom....not in the bowl underneath. had to go back and forth many many times for just a few tomatoes-and still did not work well. very disappointed.

Like everything made by OXO, this food mill is designed right. The blades fit will, no leaking. The legs are set you you can use various size containers to mill into. The knob on the handle is soft enough that there is no fatigue from spinning it. It come apart easily and cleans up well.

Bought this for my son-in-iaw. he found it very difficult to use and returned it.

A waste of 50 bucks It was very hard to turn the handle and keep it over the Pot And 2 or 3 serving is left in the ricer after it was finished

I want to do some canning so I needed something that could help me make sauces and juice. Because I will not be doing large quantities, I did not want to invest in something larger and more expensive. After receiving this, I used it to make tomato sauce from tomatoes I had frozen over the summer. It worked perfectly. After I figured out how to assemble and disassemble my food mill, it was easy to use. I had read that cleaning was difficult from previous reviews, but I did not have any trouble at all. I have a dishwashing brush that has a soap dispenser on top that I used to clean the food mill plates. I gently rubbed the brush across the top of the plates to release stuck pieces of food and the food rinsed off with no problems. Overall, I am extremely pleased and can't wait to use it some more.

Works well, easy to clean. We use it to pulp our persimmons, which are very seedy. It's hard work but the food mill works great.

I bought this tool to make mashed potato and I really like the process and the outcome. The tool is well-functioning and easy to work with. The material feels quality and all pieces seem durable to me. I recommend it if you would like your mashed potato to be fluffy and creamy.
