This Corkscrew / Opener is a wonderful upgrade from your basic unit. The semi-matte finish promotes a better grip, while its overall larger size allows for the corkscrew to enter deeper into the cork, resulting in minimal pull needed to extract it. The bottom features a plastic buffer, creating a no-slip grip on the bottle and protecting the corkscrew from chips. There is some solid weight to the unit, adding a feeling of durability when uncapping bottles, and all moving parts feel firmly connected. Overall, happy to have added this to my bar.

It's easy to use, has great leverage and has the perfect length corkscrew (so you don't have to re-screw and re-pull when opening a bottle). The silvertone color matte finish also gives it a sleek, modern look.
