[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This peeler has a long handle and blade, and comes with a plastic blade protector that snaps onto the peeler for safe storage. The blade design ensures that only a thin strip is peeled at a time. I actually used this for zesting a lemon without getting any of the white pith. The only drawback for me was the length, which was awkward for me, at first. Also, the blade is a bit stiff, requiring me to rotate my wrist more on fruits and vegetables that are not straight (apples vs. carrots).

I thought the longer handle would make it more comfortable to hold, but it actually made peeling smaller things like apples and potatoes more difficult. The long handle and short peeling blade made it awkward and uncomfortable to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vegetable peeler does it all; it worked great with large sweet potatoes, medium size regular potatoes, and even tiny mini carrots. it rinses off easily, the handle was very comfortable, it fit in the drawer nicely, and is well worth the price. Definitely a real “keeper”.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tiny hands but still hate the experience of using my OXO peeler (and I’m an OXO fan!). The handle is too small or too awkward or both. The Our Table peeler has a bigger handle and a nice sleek design I really like the look of. It’s definitely the one I’ll be reaching for. I had to knock off a star because it’s hand wash recommended. I know it’s petty but peelers suck to hand wash!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This peeler is very sharp and does a great job on carrots and cucumber peels. I especially love the guard that keeps the sharp edges covered when not in use. I debated whether to give a 4 or 5 star review. Really it should be a 4 1/2. The only issue was the build up of carrots shavings when peeling carrots. Though all peelers struggle with this, I did have to work at getting the peels out. However, the pros definitely outweigh that one con and I would not hesitate to purchase another one.

So many fruits taste better without their skin, but peeling ahead of time often leaves brown spots and not a delicious appearance. So peel right before eating using this handy peeler that works quickly and easily making meal times a pleasant experience again.
