Our Table™ 6 qt. Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Gold Lid Knob in Sycamore

I was super impressed with the initial appearance of this Dutch oven but looks can be deceiving. With the first use of this product a 3 inch diameter circle of enamel chipped off and we had to throw away the food we had cooked as there was enamel throughout. I’m disappointed and will be returning this Dutch oven.

Since the rims on the lid and the pot are bare iron, they must be seasoned. Properly seasoned they will not rust. You can find out how to do it on YouTube.

I just received my Dutch Oven and have not used it yet but I had to leave this review just to warn others..it's HEAVY! I have never owned a cast iron product before but I've always wanted one of these and the price was so right I just had to order this Dutch Oven. It never occurred to me to check out the weight of this product. It weighs 13 pounds and that's before I put anything in it!! I'm a senior and hope I'll be able to lift it for some years to come then it goes to my granddaughter who loves to cook. I cannot wait to use it and will update my rating accordingly when I see how the food comes out.

I know this isn’t a high end pot and wasn’t expect it to last a lifetime, but for what I paid, I was disappointed with the performance. The first thing I made in the pot was a tomato sauce-based stew. The dish came out lovely, but the pot was forever stained and the rim of the lid even got rusty. I can’t use it for presentation anymore, which is very upsetting. I suspect the enamel coating may not be high quality. I’m hoping to be able to exchange it for another one to give it one more try.

I wanted to love this Dutch oven. I used it maybe three times and out of the three times twice the bottom burned I was sautéing some onions & carrots on a medium to low flame. I couldn't believe that they were burning. I was making some soup and the whole bottom burned and the cabbage stuck to the bottom. And the flame wasn't high. I guess I'll be looking for a new Dutch oven this one is useless.

I love this enamel Pot even though it is very heavy LOL. everything cooks beautifully in it and it is easy to clean. I highly recommend this Pot and it is reasonably priced.

I purchased both the 6 Qt and the 2 Qt Dutch Oven. I purchased in the green Sycamore color and I love them! My husband who refused to use my cast iron skillets even loves them and he's made quite a few things in the 6 Qt.

I am 62 years old, and any time in my life I've seen a recipe that calls for a Dutch oven, I simply move on to another recipe. I just received this for Mother's Day 2022, along with Mastering French Cooking by Julia Child. I made a small chicken tonight in the pot and it was the most delectable thing. There are dozens of recipes for this versatile pot. My chicken was so tender and it cleaned up looking like brand new. Love this!
