Love this pan. It is a perfect size for a casserole for 6+ people and for panfrying steaks, etc. It is heavy (as expected) and I have to remember to rub with oil to prevent rust.

The side was so important to me. I wanted a large cooking surface that wouldn’t take up too much space on the stove. This is a big pan with a 14”outside diameter (not including the handles) but the flat inside diameter cooking surface is a full 13”. It is reasonably priced, works great and the best part is you can go see it before you buy it at Bed Bath and Beyond!

I love this cast iron skillet! It is great for baking Mac and cheese.

This large iron pan can easily be used on our propane burner to blacken steaks and chicken. What a lovely addition to our grilling season.

Peeling, peeling, peeling, and I've taken great care with my pan. It's not carbon, food particles, or the other silly suggestions listed by a BBB customer service rep in another review. My real cast iron pans have never done this. BBB doesn't stand behind their products anymore. You can not return past 90 days anymore, even if the product is problematic and defective.

just what I wanted for large batches of food

Works as well as my lodge pans. The size is great for cooking a big quantity. Preseasoned nicely. I prefer cast iron for cooking most items and this pan was exactly what I wanted in size and function
