Followed a recipe from the Essential New York Times Cook Book. Turned this fluted cake pan upside down on a wine bottle to cool as I was instructed....and the cake fell out around the wine bottle. Not good. Not pretty. The pan is solid, heavy, one-piece and non-stick.

I have tried plenty of cake pans for a perfect pound cake. This is the best tube cake pan ever!
Great for pound cakes
I had been looking at cake recipes that I would like to try. Unfortunately, the light and summery cakes I wanted to make asked for a tube pan. I didn't have one prior to now. I am so glad I don't have to keep these cakes out of my summer ideas.
My angel-food cake would not release at the top. It ended up breaking apart. I’ll be finding a 2 piece pan instead. It eliminates the sticking problem.

Looks sturdy.
Purchased this pan to make an angle food cake, that it is one piece is great no chance the cake mix will leak out. Will use the pan for Thanksgiving desert
Really love the fluted tube pan. Perfect size and cleans easily. So glad I bought this one.
