We were introduced to this patter a few years ago when we picked up the Christmas Mugs and Side plates for Biscuits and Sandwiches. Since then we have expanded to include the full set. We have had this set for about 2 years now and use it as our everyday dishes and it has stood up relatively well. I say relatively well, because on 2 coffee mugs we noticed that the gold border along the handle was fading. On contacting Noritake, they immediately replaced the defective pieces, which is why this rating is 5 star

This china is overall very nice, though I wish that there had been a bowl in place of one of the plates. The largest plate is a significant size; I find myself using the salad plate as my dinner plate. The teacup, though, is the perfect size for coffee with dessert. One thing that you cannot see in the picture is that the swirls are not all gold. The swirls are three colors: gold, light gold, and copper. Had I known this, I would probably have not picked this china. Aside from the color issues, this china is great. It looks much nicer in person than it does online.
