Ninja® Foodi® 3-in-1 Power Blender & Processor in Silver

No problems with it so far. I used mainly for smoothies. Very powerful but very noisy! (Remove your hearing aids before using - ha) Works great - this is my 2nd Ninja - the first one broke - I think from putting in the dishwasher - so do not receommend doing that. NOTE:: Tip - rinse out immediately afer using for easy clean up. Do not touch the blades for heavens sake - no need to - couldn't understand how one review cut fingers when cleaning.

The base broke after 7 months! The suction to the counter is so strong, it's such a hassle to put the blender away. Finally the base broke in half. A few washers fell to the ground, I have no clue how this thing was being held together. CHEAP

I bought this a year ago and the base unit broke. Don't waste your money, it will just had up to a landfill.

Shark Ninja knows that they are selling you a defective product. I should’ve looked more deeply into the reviews - hopefully you won’t get caught off guard like I did. Review after review after review shows that the base for this product is defective and WILL break. Mine broke after one use. I went to move it off the shelf and the base split in half. They want me to pay for a replacement base – even though Shark Ninja admitted to me that “this is a common problem with these bases”. Hopefully you won’t get duped like I did. Garbage. Don’t waste your money. Never buy another Ninja product again.

I bought this because it would fit on the counter, and I didn't need all the bells and whistles of a fancierblender/food processor. I've not used the dough blade. I tried to make pico and the chop function is really not useful and it's a very delicate balance before you have a puree on your hands. The plastic retains odor, so chopping onions for salsa and making a smoothie is not compatible. Like someone else said, this is not dishwasher compatible, as water gets into the handle and you cannot dry it and it will certainly grow mold. Finally, please, please, PLEASE listen to other reviewers. The suction on the bottom of the food processer holds this base so well that it's difficult to move. You have to "unsuction" the bottom. Even with careful attempts, by base snapped off and I now have to set it back onto the broken base each time I use it. There's a random washer that fell out (similar to another review with a picture). I've had it a handful of months. I'm going to attempt to call and see if this is covered under warranty. While it's a very simple product, it's not built well.

The suction cup are too strong ! It's so hard to move the blender and to put it away. The base came off from the motor and product was broken. They did send me a replacement but i almost damaged it again for the same reason and i was being so careful ! I had to put tape on the bottom to prevent damage again ... but the machine is moving and not secured..

This unit tends to be break the bottom cover stands for the screws, not sure it is because the motor torque or because the way the blender motor stick to the surface, looks like it is hard to remove and need to apply force to the opitcher it stress the plastic stands for the screws and it breaks those

I had a food processor previously, and was excited to find a blender/processor that was more minimalist and less bulky. With two blades (metal & plastic) and a low profile, it can quietly sit on my counter and not be an overbearing presence. The pre-settings are helpful and make use easier. The blender is very loud, so making pre-work smoothies when everyone else is sleeping is difficult. I will add that while the instruction say it's dishwasher safe, the handle gets water in it and there's no way to dry it air the handle out. This is a disappointing issue, so I just handwash the blender to avoid mold growing in the spaces that can't effectively dry. The blades are very sharp, and note that the base of the blade is very difficult to clean in the hole where the blade sits in the blender. Overall, I enjoy this blender, it works very well despite the noise. I've used it for smoothies, bowls, and chopping for pico de gallo. However, be cautious using the dishwasher and careful cleaning the base of the blade.
