A different take on pod coffee

Nespresso definitley focused on quality coffee with their approach to pod coffee. The coffee machine, milk frother, and variety of pods they offer provide a high quality, and configurable, coffee experience. I have been a K-cup consumer for a number of years, and this move is really a significant mind-set change for a K-cup person. This machine produces a barista-like coffee, and allows the user to configure the volume that will be dispensed. Pretty nifty. Everyone's taste in coffee is their own, so putting that aside I think most of us can agree that the mountain of K-cups going to the landfill every day is troublesome at best. The thing that tipped the scale for me is Nespresso's commitment to recycling their pods. When you order pods on-line, you can also order pod recycle bags that are postage-paid. They don't cost you anything, and it feels good to know that someone has designed a renewable mentality into their product line.

Sleek design, does not take up much counter space. What appealed to me was the swivel water tank but it also concerned me as the swivel piece is not flush to the counter. Once you snap on the water tank that sits flush to the counter but there is play in the plastic swivel piece and I would be concerned it could break over time. This machine leaked all the water (60 oz) from the bottom of the machine so I returned it. I could not decide on this model or the other model with the ribbed tanks, but ended up keeping the ribbed tank version. I have been very happy with that coffee maker so far. The coffee stays hot until I have sipped my last drop, which was not the case with my Keurig. Loving the frother that was in the bundle which adds milk that is warmed so that adds to my enjoyment of hot coffee till the last sip!

I was never a big coffee person, and now omg I can't wait to start my morning with a cup of Nepresso! Love that you can make hot or iced drinks! The frother is amazing, and so easy to use and clean! I cannot get enough! Super impressed by the quality!!!!

Nespresso coffee is my favourite. No American brand can live up to the European standards, unfortunately. The coffee is excellent quality, not even talking about the presentation. I prefer Vertuo size, but espressos are good too if you don’t have much time. Currently, I am using my third machine. They were all great, but don’t last forever.. The only downside is that after some time ( after a few months in my case) the machine starts to get very loud. I tried descaling and cleaning, but that didn’t help.

I am a huge fan of my nespresso vertuo and I am glad I chose to make the financial plunge to purchase one. The coffee is so much better than your typical - and you really are getting coffee shop quality in the comfort of your home.

So happy my friend convinced me to buy one. The coffee is strong and good, all the iced one hold up the the ice melting I to the coffee. There are also recipes online to show you other ways to enjoy your coffees. Highly recommended.

This has been my smartest use of money yet lol. I live off this thing. I’ve saved so much money not getting a coffee on the way to work & whenever because of this machine. I use it almost every single day. Have had it for maybe 7 months now and have yet to have issues. I love how it has a self cleaning cycle! Heats up fast as well. Only down side is, it doesn’t have Bluetooth.

Stopped working - coffee leaks everywhere

This machine stopped working one month past the 1 year mark. Coffee spills out of the back everywhere! I called customer service and they had me run a bunch of tests, descale, etc. The problem remains and the best they could do was offer 20% off a new machine. Why would I want to buy another machine that will likely do the same thing? Really disappointed.
