Coffee taste and consistency is amazing! Creamy and foamy. More expensive refill than Keurig, but much better taste and quality opportunities: 1- Coffee could be hotter 2- very limited options to buy. Only Nespresso brand.
This is an excellent machine.. when it works. This is my 2nd one in just over 4 months, both stopped working. The machine would try to warm the water, and two flashes of orange light and then solid blue. This is frustrating and after researching, tons of people have had the same issue. This has got to be one of the worst model and should have never be allowed to be on the market. I don't recommend this model and hoped that Nespresso pull this from the market.

I loved the look of this machine and the fact that it could make carafe size coffee. However, it was constantly breaking down. I always had to reset it. I had to have it replaced twice. The second time, nespresso wouldnyeven give me the Next again bc it clearly wasn't working. I now have the Evoluo and it is so much more reliable! Not a single reset or issue yet. I would NOT recommend this machine.

Purchased my first Next machine in Aug 2021 and have had no issues to date (as of 6/25/22). Recently decided in June 2022 to buy another Next machine (same model) to have one at my apt and one at my office. However the new machine leaked on my counter top pretty bad after 2 cups of coffee. Exchanged it for another one and I had the exact same problem. Returned it & got a refund. BBB took care of me on the exchanges and refund which I appreciate, however I was disappointed in the machine. Ended up buying the Plus Deluxe model about a week ago and it works great and is noticeably quieter then the Next. Go with the Plus model, it’s a lot better machine.

Got this item off my wedding registry it made great coffee! About 3 months later it started leaking and of course that isn’t covered under the one year warranty. Had plenty of cheaper coffee machines that lasted years, this one didn’t even last 3 months.

We got our daughter-in-law a Vertuo Next for Christmas. From the very first day she used it, the machine leaked into the pod holder and rarely made a full cup of coffee. I contacted customer support on her behalf. I will say they were wonderful and quickly sent out a new one. Unfortunately, it leaks also. Not all of the time, but enough to be frustrating. She has given up on it. I guess I have as well. Great coffee when it works. Just don't want that kind of adventure in the morning.

I got my first machine back in October 2021 and man, the coffee is SO MUCH better than keurig, I was SO EXCITED; HOWEVER, after 2 months, the machine stopped reading pods and after endless troubleshooting and wasted pods, Nespresso sent me a replacement machine, AWESOME. I've now had this new machine for a few months now, and about a month ago it started being finicky again. It won't read pods for days and then all of a sudden, it will. I take all the proper care of the machine and all, but when I just want a cup of coffee, it gives me a hard no. Lots more trouble shooting and wasted pods. Still won't work. You've been warned.

I'm on my second Next. The first one was replaced for free but now this new one has quit after 5 months. They don't seem to read the capsules after a time. I've wasted at least a sleeve of coffee trying to make it work. The coffee is great, but no longer worth the expense and frustration.

I used to love this machine! But after a year & a half it stopped working. I spent over an hour video chatting with an employee and clean it weekly. However, something is wrong with the sensors and it takes me forever to try to get a single cup of coffee. Honestly it makes me so mad every morning that it doesn’t work it’s not worth the hassle. I’d prefer a drip coffee machine at this point since at least that would work.

In less than 9 months we went through 2 machines. They just stopped working. Don't bother with this machine. It's the worst!

We certainly want your Nespresso experience to be special and exactly to your satisfaction. Please allow us to provide some user tips that may help. When turning on your machine, allow your machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked. For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week. The Vertuo Next comes with a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting support through Nespresso.
