I have owned many robot vacuums over the years. While those robot vacuums did a good job cleaning my home, it was never thorough clean. The combination of Neato's LaserSmart technology and D-shape design makes a huge difference. The Neato D10 thoroughly vacuums my whole home: edges, corners, and everywhere in between. If you are looking for a vacuum that is a robot too, look no further, buy a Neato D10.
At the time of writing this, my experience with the D10 has nothing but frustrating. I expected that the D10 would be a flawless experience given that it is the top tier model in the D-series family, however there have been countless issues with this model. The robot will lose its place at multiple points during the cleaning cycle and the side brush is so sensitive that it throws an error during a cleaning cycle. I've run about 30 cleaning cycles and have only had one successful cleaning cycle to date. Simply put, this thing is way too buggy for what it is, and I had higher expectations given it's the top of the line model in the D-series. I do give credit to the customer service team for their responsiveness and help, but I can only hope that these issues will be resolved in a future update.

I had to return it. I have had 2 Neatos and liked them but this new operating system is lacking a lot. I just received a new D8 and it is not any better. I really hate to have to change brands but looks like another return.

This is an excellent machine. I have the originals, but one stopped working after 15 years, the other one is still working as good as new. What i like about the new machine is that the battery life is longer. When i turned it on i was having difficulty linking it to my wifi. The problem is that the vacuum only can see the main network, but finally it worked. I do recommend it.

Somehow the neato has digressed backward. The originals which I owned 2 were workhorse vacs but this model is problematic. Never has had a successful cycle. Always get stuck and now brush bearing is sticking causing brush stuck error. Companies spend all their effort now causing you to painstakingly download an app, connect to wifi which provides precious info to them and a headache for you. The American way of doing business. Go back to an upright.

Bought a D10 recently after using D7 for over a year. D7 worked great without any major issues. D10 on the contrary didn't work even once. Tried over 10 times to map and have a clean run but D10 wouldn't do it. D10 wouldn't even honor no-go zones. D10 just goes in random circles all the time. It runs for hours randomly until its battery dies. Neato screwed up with this new product line. I am planning to move on to Roomba now. I never thought I will do that.

Neato botched this product after last couple successful product. Most of the positive reviews are from people who never owned a Neato before. D10 is so sensitive to carpet that it stops in between of the clean cycle for something stuck inside it even when nothing is stuck n brushes are clean. It gets stuck so frequently that it’s unusable. This was never an issue with old Connected Series Neato. Just disappointed with Neato on how they turning away the loyal customers

I've had the D10 for three days now. Before I started the first map I vacuumed my entire house with my Dyson DC41. Then I had "Vader" map the entire house; I didn't realize it was cleaning too. Vader did an excellent job in a couple of hours (1,800 sq ft) straight out of the box, with no extra charge. The bin was completely full when it docked. I was awestruck. There are a few things the app and firmware need work i.e. the ability to add a room to the floor plan, add iPad OS compatibility to make it easier to draw zones, and create a forum on the official website for engineers and owners to collaborate. I've researched and waited for years to purchase a robot vac. I'm convinced now that the concept has matured and prices have become more palatable that it was time for me to pull the trigger. I believe I hit the target with the Neato D10. I would definitely be willing to beta test future Neato vacs to give you thorough and honest feedback. Contact me via email anytime.
