Great rug, but looks nothing like the photo

The rug is very nice, has a non-skid backing, and fits my decor well. However, I was astonished to see that the pattern that is evident in the photo is almost imperceptible in the actual rug. Yes, there is a leaf pattern in the relief of the pile but the foreground and the background are EXACTLY the same maroon color. I’m keeping the rug, but others who are expecting to see a distinct pattern will be disappointed. BTW, the online photos are confusing about the size of the leaves in the pattern, too. I think they just photos of smaller rugs that had the same shape, and that made the leaves look larger than they really are. On my rug, the leaves are about 2.5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide.

I purchased the burgundy color, it’s difficult to see the pattern since there is no color variance. It would have been beautiful if the pattern was more visible.

I’m using this lovely rug in my master bathroom. I got it to replace a very old rug with a leaf pattern. The leaf pattern in this rug is more subtle in-person than as shown in the picture, which at first was a little disappointing, but I love the softness of the pile, and the color is great. The quality is top notch too!
