Moen® Boardwalk 24-Inch Double Towel Bar in Brushed Nickel

I love a double towel bar, but this one is designed badly. The bars are square and very sharp on all four edges. When you slide your towels on and off, it scrapes them and frays the towels. I would return it, but I already put the molly bolts in my wall.

The space between the racks seemed small. I couldn't easily put bath towels in the back. I put it up for about a week, then had it taken down.

Design is stylish but unlike most others the rods are square which make it not easy to pull the towel. After a year use, slowly got lossen and bar fell off. Wouldn't buy any square bar models any more. It is not a smooth pull out of towels. Disappointed! Installed by a professional and bars installed in others bathroom are fine so far.

The towel bar and toilet paper holders were very easy to install. A template was provided with each item They are exactly what I thought they would be when purchased. If they are installed correctly there should be no issue. The previous review I read said they were installed 5 feet off the floor. In my professional career I have not seen torwel bars installed this high so the user can pull down the towel. The towel rack is not designed to take the force of "pulling" down the towel, they are designed to hold the towels weight and allow you to remove the towel by lifting it off the rack. Again, if installed correctly and used properly this towel rack is durable and will not damage you towels.

I purchased this because it matched my Boardwalk faucets. I really like the modern design and the look of this towel bar. I would recommend this product, but with hesitation. Instead of normal bars that are round, this one is more square. We mounted our towel bars about 5 ft high and I like to pull the towels down/roll them off my old towel bars. Because of the square design, it feels as though you might be causing damage to your towels due to the square of the bar. It's a personal preference and functionally I think that round bars are better, but I still like this product.
