The first time I installed this bar I wasn't strong enough to get it tightened completely. The second time I had my father help me & we got it on the wall very tightly. It is gorgeous & so far is not showing any signs of damage from the moisture.
I have purchased this shower rod twice - taking it back - it will not stay up - don't waste your money on this one!!! : ( It deserves NO STARS!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

I keep coming home to find this shower rod in my tub. It doesn’t stay up. Don’t waist your money

Purchased item in store wished I checked online First for the reviews I came home today to find my pole and shower curtains in the tub! I tried to place back on the wall but will not stay! The pole would not tighten up on either direction ! I’m upset Didn’t even last 2 Months ….

Broke instantly when out of the package— one end cap popped off, the mechanism to adjust the length locked into place and wouldn’t budge to be readjusted, could not bear the weight of a simple curtain. The shipping package came extremely beat up which may be why the curtain rod was falling apart when taken out of its own package. Company automatically refused return citing 90 days. Pretty disappointing as the purchase was for a small nonprofit school and was embargoed, so could not be taken out of the package and tested right away after arrival (but it wouldn’t have mattered to the function of the product since it broke within seconds of being removed from the package, just might have been deemed eligible for a refund). So now we have no curtain rod and have to magically make up funds from somewhere else.

I had no difficulty installing it the first time, but last night it fell for no apparent reason. I cannot seem to adjust the length now. Don't know if it got jammed when it fell. Anyway, I cannot get it to adjust at all.

I bought three for a home remodel. I cannot get any to stay up long term. Will not support one towel we found out but now will not stay up with just the curtain I need new rubber discs to solvethisproblemor change to screw on ends

Are the rubber tips replaceable? After installation the rod comes down within five to ten minutes. Brand new clean shiny glass tile too

After only eight (8) months, the tension on this Moen shower bar has given out twice, crashing to the floor. The bar does look good, but since the it loses its tension, I cannot recommend it.
