i was looking for a simple armless office chair with firm but padded seat, a small footprint, and decent casters. problem solved. it's not large, luxurious, or overly padded, and i'm skeptical of reports that indicate lower back support (if there is any, i haven't yet discovered it, and the chair is too small for a back cushion), but for my 5'3" frame and my propensity to sit on the edge of the chair while working (but preferring strong vertical support without lumbar when sitting back), it's pretty perfect. it's also small enough, unlike any chair i've had at home or in the office, that i can easily roll it up flush under my desk for those times i do want back support. i would not recommend this for larger folks or those who prefer a large seat or tall back - this is a very small chair. i'm a 5'3", 135 pound woman and i don't think i'd be comfortable in this chair if i were more than 3 or 4 inches taller/25-30 pounds heavier, and i certainly wouldn't be comfortable in it even then if i preferred roomier accommodations. but for my purposes and preferences, this chair definitely suits.

There are similar options online, but this one is good quality, comfortable to sit in all day and feels/looks nice. Easy to put together also!

I was so excited with the purchase of this chair. I waited two weeks to receive it and when I arrived, it had (2) puncture marks on top and bottom of the chair along with a black marking on it. Needless to say, I returned it to Bed, Bath and Beyond with no problems. I did not re-purchase the chair.

I needed to set up a small office space for working from home. I spent the last few months working from the dining table and the height of the table and the lack of comfort of the dining room chair was torture over a long period of time. The Modway Ripple Office Chair that I purchased in gray has been working out very well over the past two weeks. I read the reviews about it being comfortable and questioned that belief. Well, it’s actually very comfortable and offers great lower back support, just make sure you are sitting all the way back with your lower back against the very back of the chair. I frequently sit for a few hours at a time before getting up and no discomfort at all. I put in 8 hour days on this chair and I’m very pleased with my purchase. I am actually thinking about buying a second chair to take to my job site when I return to the office. Super easy to put together and no tools needed. I also like the color choices and the modern style of the chair. Since I have only used the chair for a few weeks, I cannot make a statement regarding the long term durability, but no issues so far with the chair. I would not recommend this chair to a large person, but at 5ft. 9in. and 160lbs. it is perfect for me.

The chair is okay, but the back doesn't provide much support. Too small, it fits more a kid. My daughter liked it.
