I’ve been exclusively pumping for 15 weeks and have used this pump since coming home from the hospital. I also have a Spectra S1 and the Elvie. This is my favorite pump by far and is great. It gets out as much milk as the Spectra and more than the Elvie. It’s easy to set up and the parts are easy to clean. It’s the best, but could still be much better. The size is just a bit big; with how women’s clothing is there’s no way it’s going in your pocket. I loop it around my wrist and have considered a Fanny pack. The connectors are heavy and are finicky about any bottles besides Medela, even Dr. Brown’s that will fit on the symphony pump connectors without an issue. The Kiinde connectors will work, though. If you lean forward too far, milk can spill out of the connectors. Also, the screen is very sensitive. . . except when it’s not. If it happens to fit in the pocket of your oversized sweatpants, it will change settings as you walk and it bounces against your leg. Other times (rarely for me,) the screen will become unresponsive and you will have to turn the pump off to get it to work again. If Medela could reduce the size of the pump, use physical buttons, and make the connectors leakproof then this pump would really be a game changer.

I was sent a pump that has clearly been used. The tubing had what looked liked dried milk or mold in the tubing. This is DEEPLY unhygienic l to allow a product like this to ship out. I have a 4 month old I need to pump for.

I was excited to purchase this pump because I love the Medela brand. This pump is easy to use, I love that I can move around and do things while pumping. It started out with good suction when pumping both breasts at once; about 2-3 months after purchasing the pump, I noticed that the suction wasn’t as strong when pumping both breasts at a time. I’ve had to start unilateral pumping, which is of course more time consuming. The buttons are super sensitive, so you have to be careful with movement because the slightest touch will change your pump speed or pause your pumping session. This pump has a great battery life, which I appreciate since I sometimes forget to put it in the charger when pumping in a different room.

Purchased this and it only lasted me 5 days of pumping. The screen won’t work anymore and I’m stuck with no pump and need to go out to purchase another one until customer service gets back to me. The screen just stopped working mid pump. Happened three times I was able to charge it and it would work again and then it just completely stopped. Completely disappointed and as a new mom the stress of having to now go out and find a replacement is even more frustrating.

I purchased one a couple years ago and it worked great until about 6 months of having it, it just stopped working and never turned back on. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. Well here I am, two years later and bought this one again due to the fact that my Elvie pump doesn’t completely empty me like this one does. I have had it about 2 weeks and once again the pump is ALREADY having problems! It freezes A LOT and won’t go back on unless you plug in and out of the charger. It’s been on the charger for couples hour before just to find out that it wasn’t even charging! I’m so sick of these pumps not working correctly for the amount of money we invest in. I’m an exclusive pumping mother and it’s critical to me when I have ongoing issues!!
This breast pump has been great so far. Been using it about a month and have no complaints. I pump 1-2 times per day and the battery lasts for several feedings easily! It's easy to clean, set up, and use! I bought separately the Medela bustier to allow me to use this pump hands free, which made it even better. I like that while it's a double pump, I can use it as a single too. It's relatively quiet to use, and comes with a nice travel tote, including cold storage bag, all your parts, and bonus disposable breast pads. A great choice for a breast pump!

Would not recommend this product at all. Been using this for just under 1 month, the suction has become weak and barely any milk is pumped out. I thought it was just me who isn’t producing much milk, but my baby is definitely getting more than pumped! Very disappointed as this pump was highly rated and the pump is not cheap.

I bought this in june last year, the little one was born in October. My wife has used it for 6 months and the battery shuts off after 10 minutes. She has to keep it plugged into the wall in order to pump. How can this happen with such an expensive product?

Received this product from my insurance. It was going strong but after the first 3 months it went out. I received a 2nd battery that also went out. I’m on my 3rd, and it is going out again. If your an exclusive pumper I don’t recommend this pump. Doesn’t have a long lifespan. However Medela costumer service was excellent replacing the multiple batteries.

I exclusively pump and have been using this daily from 5-8 times per day. Disappointed that the pump is starting to shut off after 3 mins of use and then again after 7 mins of use. Otherwise I’ve enjoyed it! It’s fed my baby well thus far! Medela please help with this issue! It started by not lighting up once plugged in and so I would turn it on, plugged in, and it lit up “charging”. But now it’s shutting off every so often. If plugged in charging it works but then I need to stand by the electrical outlet. It was too expensive to stop working this quickly.
