Who knew pillowcases don’t all come in pairs? Silly me!

It was past time to replace my silk pillowcases. I have been looking for months and it is so confusing as to work is truly silk. This pillowcase is slightly thicker/denser and is very smooth. Bonus, if you like that cool feeling, this is the one for you.

I won't be buying any more. I did not know that silk was this high maintenance. It has to be hand washed or dry cleaned and that isn't going to work for my lifestyle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have generally used cotton pillow cases or something a little bit less silky most of my life, but I recently bought a new hybrid mattress that claims to be cooling. In the process of buying the mattress, I found out that in order to take advantage of the cooling gel, it's important to have the right kind of sheets to let the cooling happen. The same applies to pillows I believe. I've always had problems sweating at night, but since I changed to this silk pillowcase, I have noticed a big difference. I love it's soft silky texture and the cool feel to it as I lay down at night. Probably my favorite feature though is the zipper! Every pillowcase I've had doesn't stay on the pillow for very long before you have to slide the pillow back in...especially with silky pillowcases. With this pillowcase, I never worry about the pillow falling out because the zipper keeps it in place. The zipper isn't obtrusive either where it scratches your hand or your head. It's an inside zipper with only a tiny smooth pull tab sticking out. It's barely even noticeable, yet easy to zip up. I have enjoyed this pillowcase very much and plan to get more of them so my other pillows will match.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year, when the silk pillowcase craze was taking off, I bought a very cheap silk pillowcase to see what all the hype was about. It was flimsy and didn't do much for me. So many people swear that sleeping on silk is great for your skin and hair so I tried again with this pillowcase from Madison Park. This one is so much nicer quality. It's thick and luxurious and the color looks almost molten. It's a beautiful case. It is cooling to sleep on so I will probably use it more often in the warmer months. I have noticed less creasing on my face when I wake up but I do still get crazy bedhead. If you want to try one out, this is a wonderful option.

These work great , and preform just as expected . They are nice and soft , and this one is a great color . She has not had the problem of facial marks from the pillow . I will be buying more of these . They feel very luxurious .
