Lullaby Earth™ Super Lightweight Baby Crib & Toddler Mattress Stage 2

While I was waiting for my Lullaby Earth mattress to arrive I noticed the UPS man carrying the box with no struggle at all, and feeling it for myself I noticed it is beyond light(hence the name). I was already excited to change the sheets on it compared to the other brand I had been using. I feel very secure and can breathe easy knowing my daughter is sleeping on this quality mattress at night. I have changed the sheets since receiving the mattress and it has been such a breeze! As a mother of two young babies under the age of 2 I usually only have 5 minutes or less to change sheets before having to do anything else so it has been a blessing. I love how the outside of the mattress is waterproof so that if you have a leaky diaper it wipes off pretty easily, unlike some of the others I have used. The water proof features help keep mildew away which helps the mattress last even longer than other brands. Lullaby Earth crib mattresses completely avoid conventional fabrics such as vinyl/PVC, urethane coated nylon and PFC treated damask. It also has a firmer side for young babies and a softer side for toddlers over the age of 1 year. We will be transitioning my daughter to a toddler bed soon and it's nice to know that we can count on using the same mattress. It also feels very stable already, even though it is lightweight it's good to know when my toddler is jumping on it that it can hold her weight. It fits into our Pottery Barn Kids Catalina crib like a glove and I'm sure would conform to most other standard crib sizes measuring 27.5" x 52" x 6". Lullaby Earth makes the mattress from the two most commonly recycled materials today. Core + Surface: 100% food-grade PE Cushioning: 100% PETE and it is free of all chemicals and allergens.
