After using (and breaking) glass french presses for years, we decided to give this one a go. We have it in black and love the aesthetic of it. It's probably as "cool" of a french press as one can get. More importantly, it makes a good cup of coffee and stays warm far longer than glass. Would recommend to anyone looking for a glass press upgrade.

Purchased my LeCreuset French Press as a Xmas gift for myself. I still love my brewed coffee in the mornings but use my french press mainly for specialty coffee drinks. Important not to fill the canister above the bottom of the spout to avoid overflow when you press. The flavor of coffee made in a French press is rich and just so good.

Most french-press coffee makers are made of glass but the inside of this one is stoneware. I cautiously purchased this one but was pleasantly surprised at how good the coffee tastes!

I was hoping it would keep my coffee warmer, longer. It doesn’t. The filter pieces fit loosely and are hard to unscrew for cleaning. I’m very disappointed in this coffee press for the price. I would have returned it if I hadn’t already taken the label off and thrown out the packaging.

Looks beautiful. Makes "grindy" coffee. Le Creuset needs to spend time developing the plunger components, screen, etc. Looks can be deceiving
