Great Food, But Food Processor Started Smoking

I've owned mine for two weeks, and the third time I went to use it, the processor started smoking! I've loved the food (have tried hummus and salsa), but the second time I tried making hummus, you could see white smoking drifting out of the base. I've reached out to Kitchenaid, and I'll update this review if I hear something back, I might have just gotten a defective unit, but I'm worried to use it again.

I purchased this thinking the extra money I spent for it mean it was better….NOT! I broke after 5 uses and I tossed it. Such a disappointment. I bought a less expensive brand and it has worked beautifully for me.

I bought this food processor and love the size and design, but it is not a very sturdy and it moves around while I am using it! This happened when trying to process packaged cookies for oreo balls- not like im trying to pulse rocks here. I also wish the motor was stronger. I'm trying to return this product but am not sure what the return policy is for used products and it is very difficult to get through the line.

i have my for a few year i did not utilise verry often a few month ago my wifi take it to make pinot butter cookee and he stop dont know wy will not by an other. its a poor letter but i am from quebec i am french.tanks
