Stick to the plain white dryer balls. The black nose made black marks on my white dryer walls ! They are not easy to remove. I don’t recommend this product.

I have bought this product to try, and I'm glad I did.

they are cute but don't let that fool you. Within the first month they lost their noses. And now one has cracked, I guess they had a fight while tumbling in the dryer.

I recently read that fabric softener ruins your towels over time. Between that and the desire to be eco friendly, I decided to buy these and ditch the fabric softener for good. I was really excited! However, after several weeks of use I have to say I am a little underwhelmed. The do seem to help with drying time, as long as the load isn’t too big so they can tumble about. They do not seem to help with static cling though.

I bought these to use for larger loads especially with towels and blankets that never seem to dry. They work great and nicely fluff the laundry. They are a little noisy, which is to be expected. However, I noticed what I thought was dirt stuck to the inside of the dryer and realized it is the black nose scraping off and scratching the drum. I am going to try getting it off with a magic eraser, but so far I haven't been able to clean it. I think it might be a better idea to spend the extra money for the wool balls BB&B sells.

I bought this a few months ago and they've held up well. Unfortunately one split open at the laundromat because the heat was so high in the dryer. I haven't had any problems with the remaining one at home.

It does the job of creating space in the dry so things dry evenly. It's also cute.

These dryer balls significantly decrease drying time for large loads, bulky items. In addition, you know how you toss one thing in the dryer and it takes forever? These little guys bounce around get that job done too. Mine are still in good shape after about 6 months; I recently purchased a set to add to a "new home" basket for my son and his fiance.
