Bought this to prep meals before kitchen renovation. Holds large amounts of food. Used to make pulled pork, chicken chili, soups. Usually slow cook bbq brisket in oven but it was as good, if not better, in this pot. An 8lb brisket was finished in under 2 hours! I’ve now been using to cook for my family of 5 while we are without a kitchen and we have not had to eat out once! I make hard boiled eggs and soup each week. The sauté feature works well, although I suspect not as hot as stovetop. Been using a lot of the freezer “dump meal” recipes that I have found online and froze ahead of time. You can use all instant pot recipes available for the 6 and 8 quart in this 10 quart pot by just doubling or tripling ingredients and liquids. Best thing is that you do not have to increase cooking time! Made 9lbs of pot roast last night so we would have leftovers. Delicious! Take note that you can only fill all of the instant pots two thirds full. This fact made the 6 and 8 quart too small for us. I like to make double batches of everything so I can have leftovers or freeze. I had used a pressure cooker before but still read the manual cover to cover and watched some online videos before using because I was slightly intimidated by it. The pot is very simple and easy to use and would not hesitate to give to anyone, even those with no cooking experience. Clean up is very easy which is very important to me. I am someone who does not jump and buy new kitchen products often but highly recommend this Pot. Do not hesitate to buy.

So I just used my instant pot last night to make Japanese curry and the inner pot has this stainless steel stain to it! I’ve tried everything in the book to scrape it off! I used vinegar...baking soda...hot water...but nothing is working! The stain surface is smooth to the touch but if I run a plastic fork over it, the surface would catch on this roughness. I’m look all over the web to find if there is a replace inner pot for the 10qt but there is none! I can’t even locate any other accessories like the rings for this size pot. So disappointing for a instant pot so big in size and there’s no way to purchase replacement parts for it! I almost feel like I regret getting the 10qt, but I’m crossing my fingers that instant pot will release the replacement parts for a pot this size.

Love this instant pot for my family of 6. However, like so many others, I’m struggling with the complete dearth of accessories! One of the reasons I bought this was for mankind extra large batches of broth from scratch. Without a steamer basket that fits, this is a huge chore and dangerous to deal with boiling hot liquid! PLEASE please make a 10Qt silicon steamer basket! You have a willing market who wants to buy your accessories!

I can't believe how wonderful this is for us! My Instant Pot has opened a world that I thought was too cumbersome and time-consuming. Last night we made a Pakistani dish with frozen chicken! Seriously, the defrosting time saved was worth the price of the IP. The other night I made yogurt. I haven't had yogurt that creamy and delicious in a long, long time. Tonight I'm making chowder. The whole household is happy we made this purchase! The timing is right too, since there are lots of recipes out in books and online from which we can choose. It's great. Simply great.

My Best GF has one, and she loves it. I am a vegetarian so there is no end to what I can make now. I love soups, steamed vegetables, grains...there is no end to what it will do.

Soooo this product did not come with absolutely anything but a booklet of instructions to put the pot together. I made chicken breast in it. It cooked quickly but I didn’t like how moist it was. Not the products fault but like I say it didn’t come with anything in the box so I really don’t understand how to cook anything in it.

Purchased for my husband for Christmas! Best gift thus far. He loves it! I dont think I could have made a better purchase!!! So far he he has cooked ribs, chicken, rice and collards!!!! Tender and tasty...in half the cooking time!!! I plan on purchasing more accessories for him!!! Hey...the more he cooks, the less I have to!
