I like the machine overall. It’s quiet and it works well. But what I didn’t realize is that it has to be filled from the bottom. Definitely not as convenient as a top-fill.

Well made, easy to operate product, does a good job

This is a great unit. We have VERY hard water where we live and do not have a water softener but this unit does not get clogged up with gunk.

Okay I've had this humidifier for years and it DOES work well; I did my research before buying it but am coming back to put a note on cleaning this thing. To caveat, no I have not done the "weekly cleaning" that is recommended, and no, I don't empty it out every morning to let the insides dry (does anyone??). So yes, I suppose if I did those things I wouldn't have those problems. The issue is the reservoir is large which is nice because it can last a few days (I only run it at night). However, you CAN'T GET INTO THE TANK TO CLEAN THE THING. It has the one opening on the side and unless you're Gumby you're not going to be able to get an angle in there with a sponge, toothbrush or whatever. The most success I've had it by putting vinegar and water in there with a large sponge and shaking the crap out of it, but there's still some mineral deposits along the edges and it's so frustrating. All they had to do was make it so you could remove the top for easy access and cleaning. Major design flaw.

These units are well made and last. You won't be sorry you chose this.

After struggling through part of winter in dry atmosphere in the house, the humidifier has quietly added some humidity and made the whole house so much more comfortable. Static electricity in gone!

Love it and it is easy to use and very quiet.
